Philip Victor oversees two divisions within the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT). As Director, Policy and International Cooperation, he manages IMPACT’s partner countries and manages the development of their relationships between industry partners, international organisations, academia and governments. He also oversees the Centre for Training and Skills Development - designing, developing and deploying courses and training curricula aimed at global cyber security professionals and practitioners.
Prior joining IMPACT, he led training and outreach for a national cyber security agency, and was responsible for national cyber security programmes focused on increasing the awareness of internet users in the country - including enterprises, parents, children and ministries.
He also spearheaed national capacity-building programmes and successfully reduced the ratio of cyber security professionals to internet users in the country.
He has over 18 years’ expertise in the IT sector, ten years’ in cyber security and was awarded the Senior Information Security Practitioner for (ISC) 2 Information Security Leadership Achievement award in 2010. He has presented at global conferences, forums and seminars, and has published articles both locally and internationally.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.
